Who is Shade to Studio for?
Dental professionals, such as hygienists and assistants, and beauty and wellness pros, such as estheticians, lash artists, and spa owners, who want to offer professional teeth whitening and build a business around it.
Do I need a dental license to offer whitening?
Rules on who can provide teeth whitening differ from state to state. Module 9 walks you through researching your stateā€™s requirements, with a worksheet to keep your findings organized, before you see your first client.
Iā€™m already a hygienist. Will this be too basic?
No. Youā€™ll move quickly through the foundations and spend your time on protocols, the client experience, and running the business.
Is the course self-paced?
Yes. You learn at your own pace, with continuing mentorship along the way.
How long do I have access to the course?

Enrollment and kits
Which option is right for me?
Choose The Foundation if you want the full course and mentorship and plan to source your own supplies. The Studio Starter adds a starter kit for your first 10 clients and the SMRKLSS aftercare collection. The Complete Studio adds a professional whitening light on top of that. If youā€™re already trained and want guidance with your current business, The Business Edit gives you private mentorship without a course or kit.
Is mentorship included?
Yes. Every course option includes continuing mentorship. If youā€™re already trained, The Business Edit gives you three private 60-minute sessions over 90 days on its own.
What comes in the starter kit?
The Studio Starter and The Complete Studio include a starter kit for your first 10 clients and the SMRKLSS aftercare collection. The Complete Studio also includes a professional whitening light.
Can I pick up my kit instead of having it shipped?
Yes, free local pickup is available. Shipping rates apply to the contiguous U.S., and other destinations are quoted separately.
